A media delegation of Defence journalists from Delhi visited Lucknow to see the strides being made in aerospace defence production in Uttar Pradesh.
More than 25 journalists visited facilities in Lucknow and gained insights into new initiatives in Aatmanirbhar Defence.
The delegation first visited the Accessories Division of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, where they got to see indigenised parts and interacted with HAL officials.
The Accessories Division manufactures aircraft systems and accessories for Aircrafts, Helicopters and Engines. At present, over 1400 different types of accessories are being manufactured and / or maintained by the Division.
The team then visited the new facility of PTC Industries Limited set up over 50 acres in the Lucknow Node of the UP Defence Industrial Corridor. PTC Industries is a listed company, which will also provide titanium parts and materials to the Brahmos Manufacturing Facility set up in Lucknow. Mr. Sachin Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of PTC Industries briefed the journalists on the operations of the facility and future plans for expansion.
